Carolina Senior Marketing’s Medicare Exchange 2022 took place on August 25th and 26th in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, at The Carolina Inn. This was our first time all together, new and old, in two years, and since joining the Integrity Marketing family!
The exchange featured educational presentations from carriers for our North Carolina and South Carolina agents, networking time throughout the two days, and an awesome time celebrating during our formal dinner, highlighted by an impressive magician, and our Night at the Royale afterparty, an event full of table games. This year’s event was one for the books!
Agents arrived around lunchtime Thursday, August 25th, and CEO of Carolina Senior Marketing, Dustin Alipour, kicked off the event alongside keynote speaker George Dippel of DEFT Research. Dippel spoke on the outlook for the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) 2023: what to expect and how to have a successful season ahead based on the current data.
All the session speakers gave presentations that were highly engaging and informative and prepared our North Carolina and South Carolina agents for the upcoming Medicare AEP. Session speakers consisted of carriers and our partner, Agent Pipeline. The carriers featured were: Humana, UHC, BCBS, Aetna, Devoted, HealthTeam Advantage, Wellcare, and FirstMedicare Direct.
The two days were full of educational sessions, but we also made time to have some fun! Thursday evening everyone dressed in their fanciest attire for dinner, where Dustin Alipour and VP of Agent Services, Chris Howell, honored agents who had been with CSM for five and 10 years each.
This is such a great achievement, and it was only right to gift the honorees with plaques commemorating their five years of service or custom bobbleheads of themselves for those who have made it a decade with us. After dinner attendees put their skills to the test at our Night at the Royale event!
Medicare Exchange has continued to be a momentous event, where CSM can not only provide useful information to our agents but also have fun and show them our appreciation for their hard work! CSM loves creating a space to help foster relationships and grow a support system for agents throughout the east coast. Stay tuned as we prep for Medicare Exchange 2023!
